I just started a 3 month contract as a front-end developer and getting some great new experience!

I am working for a local software company on the front-end of some of their software products.
Everyone in the team have been so friendly and welcoming. The company uses excellent agile/scrum processes to monitor work and give everyone a chance to flag any issues early on.
It's been a great opportunity to use git more extensively and learn DevOps and TFS aswell as getting back on Visual Studio, working in a .NET solutions for the first time in years!
The work culture is spot on. Hybrid/remote working, they don't feel the need to micro manage staff and there are lots of great benefits for members of the company.
I have been able to offer a lot more front end support, reskinning a software product ready for a pre-Christmas meeting with the client.
Look forward to working more with them in the new year.
